e-Create is a university project: a site where people search for recipes to turn old, unwanted items into something new.

Recipes for old, unwanted items

On e-Create, users can search for recipes on how to turn old, unwanted items into something new. One example can be a recipe to turn an old clock into a new picture frame.

A University project of mine, I kept this on my portfolio because this was the project where I learned the importance of Usability Testing and Paper Prototyping.

Learning the Process

A formal process, start to finish

This project taught me the importance of having a formal process in my designs. My team and I would do user research, create task analyses and scenarios, storyboards, and also created a low and hi-fidelity prototype.

Paper Prototyping

Testing at every step

This project also gave me experience with Paper Prototyping and testing at every step of the way.

Hi-Fi Prototype

Focused on how users find a recipe

For the last part of our project, we created and tested a high-fidelity prototype. This website had a few working examples on it, but due to time constraints, we excluded the functionality of posting a recipe, and focused more on how users will find a recipe.
